“The
Power of Revelation I”
(Removing the Mystery and Knowing the Truth)
by
Bishop Duane Swilley
Purpose:
To understand, if you know Jesus, you’ll know everything
you need to know.
Top Principle of the
Week – If you get where He desires you to be, you’ll
have all you desire (Psalms 37:4).
I Corinthians 2:2, 6-10
(NKJ) – “For I determined not to know anything among you
except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. However, we
speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the
wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who
are coming to nothing. But we speak the
wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God
ordained before the ages for our glory, which
none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known,
they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as
it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor
have entered into the heart of man. The things which God
has prepared for those who love Him." But God has
revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit
searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
Principle – The main
purpose of the Holy Spirit is to reveal Jesus’
way of doing things (the deep things of God).
(Illus.) Revelation =
covering taken off and the mystery revealed (Matthew
13:10-17). It’s been given to you, how God works
with man.
Principle – God
inspired dreams are pictures of revelation
(Bishop Paulk prophecy “You are a Center of Dreams and
Fulfillment”).
Consequences for living
without revelation:
Proverbs 29:18 (NKJ) -
Where there is no revelation, the people cast off
restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law.
Proverbs 29:18
(Message) - If people can't see what God is doing, they
stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to
what he reveals, they are most blessed.
Principle – We are
responsible for all revelation we receive
(embrace) – people perish for lack of enforcement).
To avoid confusion,
use your direct line to Jesus (Galatians 1:12)
Galatians 1:12 (NKJ) -
For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it,
but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Galatians 1:12
(Message) - I didn't receive it through the traditions,
and I wasn't taught it in some school. I got it straight
from God, received the Message directly from Jesus
Christ.
To be intelligent and
deserving, you must know Him personally.
Ephesians 1:15-17
(Message) - That's why, when I heard of the solid trust
you have in the Master Jesus and your outpouring of love
to all the Christians, I couldn't stop thanking God for
you--every time I prayed, I'd think of you and give
thanks. But I do more than thank. I ask--ask the God of
our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory--to make you
intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally,

This kind of revelation has a price
